If spontaneity were a sport, we’d be undefeated. And if chaos rewarded dedication, we might have slipped away to a pontoon gambling boat—betting on red, chasing sunsets, and calling it a day.

But you have been so patient. Patient with our timing. Patient with our stories. Patient as this next chapter took its sweet time.

And we are finally doing it! We are getting married! And want you there so we can make this thing official.

Because this isn’t our first rodeo, we know what truly matters. Not the spectacle. Not the production. What matters is us—and the people who have walked alongside us to get here.

This season of life feels different—steady, certain, hard-won, and wholehearted. And we want to begin it surrounded by the faces who know us best and love us anyway.

So instead of sailing off into the sunset alone, we’re gathering in May, tucked away in the Carolinas, to do this the right way—with our children and our families by our side.

There will be wish lanterns glowing, champagne corks popping, and more joy than we can put into words. Mostly, there will be gratitude—and genuine excitement—that we get to stand together, focused on the promise we’re making… with each of you there to witness it.

Bald Head Island is a private barrier island, 3 miles across the Cape Fear River from Southport, North Carolina. The nearest airport is Wilmington, about 35 minutes from the ferry terminal. Bald Head Island is only accessible via passenger ferry or private yacht. No passenger cars are allowed on the island, and the standard mode of transportation is golf cart, bicycle or tram. *TIP: be sure to book ferry tickets early and arrive at Deep Point Terminal at least 30 minutes before departure.

FERRY DEPARTING LOCATION
The ferries depart the mainland from Deep Point Marina which is located in Southport, North Carolina (1301 Ferry Road).

WHEN YOU DOCK
Transportation will be arranged to your chosen destination and back to the ferry terminal on the day you depart. Our house rental is approximately 2 miles (8 min car ride from the Inn).
